Frock shock: Frosty outlook as TV divas match dresses

THE weather may be looking clear today, but a fashion clash was on the cards as BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood and Louise Minchin appeared on TV wearing the same dress.

Kirkwood tweeted after eagle-eyed viewers commented on social media.

She wrote: “For those asking, lovely @louiseminchin and I didn’t deliberately wear the same dress (in different colours) this morning - pure coincidence.”

Minchin added: “A late change on my part!” and also tweeted: “So, I changed at 5 to 6 so I wasn’t wearing the same as @stephbreakfast and managed to put on the same dress as @carolkirkwood! #dressclash”.

Kirkwood sported the v-neck dress with a pink top and purple bottom half, while Minchin’s frock had two hues of blue, a lighter one at the top and darker one at the bottom.

The dress, from Diva Catwalk, is called Nadia Colour Block Sleeved Dress and costs £115.

Viewers didn’t seem to mind the fashion clash, with one tweeting: “#bbc breakfast @louiseminchin and @carolkirkwood look fab in their matching dresses today.”
