Fundraising schoolboy in driving seat

Schoolboy Harry Garbutt delighted his friends by arranging for an array of supercars to roar into the schoolyard.

The 14-year-old, from Boston Spa School, set up the visit to raise money to take part in a trek through remote villages in Morocco during half-term. Pupils were charged 1 to look at the cars and 10 for a trip in a Ferrari.

Paul Brown, director of supercar club, curie25, seen with Harry in a Ferrari California, said: “Harry’s definitely got a great future in business. There aren’t many people with the initiative and determination to pull an event like this together and then sell so many tickets for it.”
