Gallery makes a change for TV judge
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen took a breather at Salts Mill, Saltaire, Bradford with Hallmark photo competition winner Jenny Downing, from Old Windsor, Berkshire.
The designer who found fame with TV's Changing Rooms descended on Salts Mill gallery yesterday with a judging panel to whittle down 12 finalists and announce the winner of a national photography competition for Mother's Day. Ms Downing won the over-18s competition and 14-year-old Alice Curtis was named under-18s winner.
The event is the climax of a national photography competition, The Picture of Motherhood, launched at the end of last year by Hallmark Cards as part of its Cards for a Cure campaign for Mother's Day. Images from the competition will be featured on Hallmark cards which can be bought online.
All 12 finalists will have their images exhibited at the gallery until March 15.
