Gang stabs 
teenager in street brawl

A TEENAGER suffered a “serious” stab wound in a brawl between two groups of men in Darnall, Sheffield.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the attack in Staniforth Road at 10.40pm on Tuesday, June 4.

A spokesman said: “Enquiries are ongoing, but at this early stage it’s believed that the victim – a 19-year-old local man – was walking along Staniforth Road with his brother and two other relatives when a gold-coloured Clio car pulled up.

“Several Asian males, aged in their late teens to early twenties, got out and it’s thought that the two groups started fighting.

“During this, the victim suffered a four-inch puncture wound to his right shoulder.”

No arrests have yet been made.
