Gang wearing red gloves rob shop

The robbers threatened staff before making off with the cash drawer from the till of the Corner Shop on the corner of Convamore Road and Ropery Street in the town shortly before 3pm on Sunday.

The first suspect was about 5ft 8in and wore a dark hoodie with a white emblem, with the hood pulled over his head, dark tracksuit bottoms with white stripes and red gloves.

The second also wore a hoodie, grey on the top half and dark on the bottom, with white stripes down each sleeve.

He was of medium build, about 5ft 8in and again wore red

gloves. The third suspect, who remained in the doorway of the shop was about 17 to 19, around 5ft 8in and wore a dark hoodie, with the hood pulled over his head.
