GCSEs 2017: Yorkshire third bottom in the country for GCSE pass rates after exam revamp

The number of Yorkshire students receiving GCSE passes has fallen this year.

Pupils have today received their GCSE results.

Figures published by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) reveal that across the region the pass rate was 63.2 per cent - a drop of 0.3 per cent from last year.
