Gender divideover senior jobs
Almost twice as many men as women think the sexes are equal at getting the top jobs.
The study published today found 44 per cent of men thought it not unusual for a woman to hold down a top job, compared to 23 per cent of women.
Sarah Churchman, director of diversity at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, said it was no surprise. “Some men don’t realise what it’s like to face a macho male dominated culture.”
