Giant Hockney work moving on

THIS week is last chance to see David Hockney’s largest work, Bigger Trees Near Warter, before it moves on from York Art Gallery on Sunday.

The huge East Yorkshire landscape picture, which is made up of 50 smaller ones, has been drawing record visitor numbers to the gallery since it went on show there during February. I

It will move to the Ferens Art Gallery in Hull for exhibition from June 25 to September 18 and then to Cartwright Hall in Bradford from October, as part of a series of Yorkshire exhibitions of works from the Tate.
