Giant step towards saving memories
Golden memories of British seaside holidays are to feature in an initiative to encourage Britons to share their life stories online.
Yesterday, a huge footprint took shape on Scarborough's South Bay Beach to mark the launch of the new life story website, called SaveEveryStep.com. Site founder Helen Spencer said: "Scarborough is the perfect place to launch our site. Some of my happiest childhood memories are splashing about in the waves, scoffing fish and chips on the front and building sand castles on the South Beach.
"SaveEveryStep is all about reliving those kinds of
memories."
