Glamorous start to trade fair
Miss England Katrina Hodge swapped her Army combats for elegant evening wear when she appeared at Europe's largest bridal trade exhibition in Harrogate yesterday.
L/Cpl Hodge, 22, who has already served in Iraq and has picked up the nickname Combat Barbie, travelled from Brighton to appear at the British Bridal Exhibition in the spa town.
She was given six months leave to carry out her Miss England duties, although she hopes to join the effort in Afghanistan after she steps down in July.

Hide AdShe was a guest at the trade exhibition of the Harrogate-based Eternity Group, which manufactures and distributes wedding dresses and evening wear and sponsors the Miss England competition.
