Grandmother indeath crash named

A grandmother who died after being airlifted to hospital following a Bank Holiday Monday crash in North Yorkshire has been named by police.

Glennis Hackney, 57, from Bury, Lancs, was a passenger in a VW Golf which was being driven by her husband when the crash happened on the A64 at Barton crossroads. Her husband escaped unharmed, but three other passengers suffered minor injuries.
