Gun victim sparks probe
A MAN who went to hospital with gunshot wounds sparked a massive investigation which closed three roads in Sheffield yesterday.
The victim was shot on Tuesday evening. Officers said they were alerted after he arrived at A&E with a “serious injury to his hand and arm”.
The man, aged 22, was shot on Burngreave Road in Sheffield. The road and roads around it were closed yesterday as investigations continued.
Police said they believed it was a targeted attack.
