Harrogate’s longest-standing independent brewery is gearing up for England’s World Cup campaign by launching a new beer this week.

Mike Berriman, general manager of Daleside, said Wet Your Whistle had been brewed specifically to coincide with the start of the World Cup, and is aimed to a beer for all supporters - and non-football fans.

Based in Starbeck, the award-winning Daleside’s latest creation is a light session ale of 3.8% ABV with citrus notes.

Founded in the mid 1980s, Daleside’s World Cup beer is already available at popular Harrogate pub the Coach and Horses but is going to be distributed nationwide.
