Harrogate burglar caught in the act

The suspect kicked in a door and turned a light on in the flat on St Winifred’s Avenue near The Stray at about 12.40am but was disturbed by the homeowner.

Having been discovered, the offender made off in an unknown direction.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at around the time of the incident to get in touch by calling the force on 101, quoting reference number 12170007999.
