Yesterday's heavy snow hampered the search for a 36-year-old man who has been missing in North Yorkshire since Sunday morning.

Police are concerned for the safety of Ian Simpkin, 36, of Wath, near Ripon. His parents raised the alarm on Sunday evening after he did not return home.
Yesterday, a helicopter and mountain rescue teams joined the hunt for the part-time gamekeeper.
