Hendrix hat is Handel exhibit

An exhibition about rock guitarist Jimi Hendrix is opening to mark the 40th anniversary of his death.

Hendrix lived in an upstairs flat, which is now part of the museum, in the 1960s.

He moved to London in 1966 and died in the city four years later on September 18 1970. The exhibition runs from August 25 to November 7.

Meanwhile, four sketches by a Pre-Raphaelite artist John Everett Millais, found tucked inside some Led Zeppelin records were withdrawn from sale after it emerged they may belong to the band's guitarist Jimmy Page. They were found inside records owned by Rick Hobbs, who worked for Page and the band for many years before his death in January.
