Higher costs blamed for price increase

INCREASING production costs mean the cover price of the Yorkshire Post goes up today – but this is being matched by great offers.

Saturday’s paper goes up to £1.50 and Monday to Friday’s papers will cost 70p.

Today, a promotional offer begins that cuts 5p off the price of weekday papers and 10p off Saturday’s edition.

Further savings can be made by subscribing – bringing the cost to 49p Monday to Friday and £1.05 on Saturday.
