Hose drill for weight-camp children
The session is part of a five-week healthy living programme involving 30 children aged between eight and 17.
A spokesman for NHS Rotherham, which runs the camp with Carnegie Weight Management, said: “It is a physically demanding exercise that requires teamwork and good communication, and is aimed at supporting confidence building, teamwork and raising aspirations of the children.”

Hide AdKeith Watts, youth engagement officer at the fire service, said: “Working with young people in our communities is important to us as we seek to improve their understanding of a range of issues, from fire safety to healthy living.
“Physical activities like this one can be a great tool for engaging young people, not to mention the associated health benefits. It’s an initiative we are very happy to support.”
The weight-management classes, known as Carnegie Clubs, involve more than 30 sports and activities, as well as advice on healthy eating.
