Hospital airlift fortwo crash drivers
Two motorists were airlifted to hospital yesterday after being trapped in the wreckage of a two-car crash on Stillington Road, near Easingwold.
Both men, one in each vehicle, were released by firefighters using heavy duty cutting gear between 12.45pm and 2pm. Both suffered serious injuries, North Yorkshire fire service said. One was airlifted to hospital by Sea King helicopter and the other by air ambulance.
