Hospital patients miss drug doses
Patients are missing one in 10 doses of medication in hospital, according to research in Yorkshire.
A study of patients in hospital in Bradford, carried out in the wake of a report by the National Patient Safety Agency in February into the risks of missed medication, highlights problems likely to affect many hospitals across the country. The report is to be presented to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s annual conference next week.
