Hospital volunteers in 70s find love

A couple in their 70s got more than they bargained for when they volunteered at their local hospital – then fell in love.

Dorothy Gibbs and Eric Boston volunteered at the League of Friends tea bar in the emergency department at Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Ms Gibbs, 71, met 72-year-old Mr Boston and their friendship soon blossomed into much more. They have been together for seven months and plan to marry next June.
