A FIRM of chartered accountants and business advisers has launched a mobile phone and tablet app advice service to enable its clients to access information on the move.
The branded service has been started by HPH Chartered Accountants, Bootham, to help hundreds of clients calculate their tax, discover latest tax-saving ideas and access up-to-the-minute financial news at any time of day.
It also includes live financial and current affairs news feeds.
The app launch is part of a £50,000 investment by the company this year to maintain its use of technology, including computer software, networks and file servers.
Robert Woolley, marketing and business development partner, said: “This initiative demonstrates to clients that we are always looking for ways to improve the speed, efficiency and quality of our services to them and it will mean that we are constantly in their thoughts when they access the service even outside working hours.”
HPH specialises in helping SMEs and not-for-profit organisations with a wide range of accounting, VAT and taxation services and wealth management issues.
The company, which also has an office in Harrogate, has 28 staff and was founded in Coney Street, York, in 1898.
