Hull Truck and firms treat foster children
More than 1,000 young people, who are either foster children, fostering families, children in residential care, young carers or siblings of disabled children, have been offered a free ticket to see Hull Truck Theatre's festive production of A Christmas Carol.
The tickets have been provided through donations from NPS Group and MKM Building Supplies, with Hull Truck matching their giving in-kind

Hide AdRachel Palmer from Hull Council's Hull Fostering Team, said: "Hull Fostering and the many families we support are delighted to be working with local businesses to create more opportunities for the most vulnerable children in society.
"Already fostering families have been calling to express their gratitude andtheir children are already looking forward to performances."
A Christmas Carol, which is adapted and directed by Hull Truck's Associate Director Nick Lane, runs until December 31.
The sponsorship came via the Gift of Christmas campaign, the latest in a series of innovative fund raising schemes launched by the theatre to attract corporate support.
