RESIDENTS of an apartment block were still without water last night three days after a pipe fractured.
Water to 350 apartments in West Point in Leeds city centre was turned off on Wednesday morning.
It could be several hours until it is back on, residents were told last night.
Resident Tim Arnott said: “It has been awful; we have not been able to flush toilets.
“We are furious. If a pipe has fractured why can they not replace it sooner?”
Mainstay Residential said it was working to fix the pipe and thanked residents for being patient.
In a letter dated yesterday the company said that it was hoped the water could be turned on today.
It blamed slow-drying adhesive for the delay.
