I’ll be back: Defeated Ennis vows to win gold

Jessica Ennis has vowed to bounce back from losing her World heptathlon title to claim Olympic gold on home soil next year.

The 25-year-old Sheffield athlete saw her long unbeaten run come to an end as Russia’s Tatyana Chernova took first place at the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu by 129 points. “I’ve got to make sure I improve the areas I need to improve and make sure it’s a gold next year,” Ennis said.
