Image of man who was found dead

DETECTIVES investigating the discovery of a man's body in the grounds of Temple Newsam House, Leeds, have released this computer-generated image of the man's face in a bid to identify him.

Police do not believe the death was suspicious but they have been unable to identify the man, who was found by a walker at about 3.30pm on Sunday.

The man had no identification but was carrying a small amount of cash and had an overnight bag containing a number of toiletries.

He was aged between 45 and 55, of medium build with wavy mid brown hair. Det Insp Richard Holmes, who is leading the investigation, said: “We believe this man was in central Leeds on the 2nd and 3rd of February and he may have also have links to Garforth and the surrounding area.”
