Imelda Staunton at the Bradford Film Festival

OSCAR-nominated actress Imelda Staunton has been at the Bradford International Film Festival for a screening of her film Vera Drake. Watch an interview here.

In the 2004 drama, for which she received a Best Actress nomination, Imelda plays an abortionist who finds her beliefs and practices clash with the mores of 1950s Britain.

She is also known for her performances in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and the TV series Up the Garden Path, as well as countless stage roles.

This year she appears in the blockbuster Alice In Wonderland and will also be seen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.
