India test-fireslong-range missile

India has again successfully test-fired a nuclear-capable missile that can hit targets across much of Asia and the Middle East.

The country’s Defence Research and Development Organisation said yesterday’s test was the fourth for the Agni III missile.The first two tests in 2006 failed.

The missile can travel 1,900 miles – putting China’s major cities in range, as well as Middle Eastern targets.
