Injured event rider dies in hospital
Event rider Robin Donaldson, who broke his neck when he fell from a horse at the Beckwithshaw Horse Trials near Harrogate three weeks ago has died in hospital.
Mr Donaldson, 64, who lived near Wetherby was taken to the intensive care unit at Leeds General Infirmary following the fall but died on Thursday.
Leeds Coroner’s office confirmed an inquest into Mr Donaldson’s death will be held at a date to be fixed.
