Inquest adjourned into Hull man killed in Alps crash

Paul Bramley, 28, was one of three Britons who died in the tragedy in March.

The inquest into his death was opened and adjourned at Hull Coroner’s Court this afternoon.

Keith Baskill, coroner’s officer, said Mr Bramley was a passenger on the Germanwings flight from Barcelona to Dusseldorf on March 24.

He said: “He was killed when the aeroplane crashed. “The circumstances are under investigation by the French authorities.”

Mr Baskill said the French death certificate indicated that the cause of death was “severe corporeal destruction” due to a commercial airline plane crash.

He said Mr Bramley was identified by DNA analysis.

Professor Paul Marks, Hull coroner, adjourned the inquest until investigations had been carried out by authorities in France and Germany.
