International flavour at the big top

The Netherlands National Circus has arrived in Armley, Leeds for a show featuring springboard acrobats, illusions, a trapeze star from Mongolia and Angelo Chavez the clown, above. The show, under a purpose-built big top, wows its audiences with the high-flying Terskyy Brothers from Ukraine, The Trio Bokafi, acrobats from Hungary, illusionist Ross Presto, and the Bugrovi Sisters performing on the deceptively dangerous rola-rola.

The performers are putting on two shows a day in Armley until Sunday.

The Circus, founded in 1948, is now particularly proud of its amazing lighting, sound system and atmospheric effects – and does not feature any animals among its acts. Performance times have been posted online at www.netherlandscircus.eu and the box office phone number is 0113 260 2444.
