Jewellery taken in Dewsbury cold caller fraud

The incident happened between 10am and midday on Monday, May 2 when a man approached the elderly victim at her home address in the Dewsbury Moor area.

He offered to buy her gold jewellery from her but she declined.

The man then went into the house and removed a quantity of jewellery which he then left with. He also left a quantity of money in the property.

Anyone with any information about the incident, is asked to contact PC Clyde Sinclair at the Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.
