Joust a minute - hard men go head to head in suits of armour (with video)

THERE are some real men of iron appearing at the Royal Armouries Museum during the half term holidays.

Today visitors to the museum in Clarence Dock, Leeds, experienced the battle of the Celts v The Saxons in a show of strength, as four of the UK's strongest men went head to head.

There were competitions throughout the day, featuring four strongmen including the current UK champion Jimmy Marku and Scotland's strongest man, Louis MacLean. The strongmen will also be at the museum again on Thursday.
