Kayacker search recovers body
The body of a woman believed to be a missing kayaker was found in the sea yesterday evening.
Mother-of-two Elizabeth Ashbee, 53, from Shrewsbury, became separated from four colleagues in difficult waters on Sunday afternoon close to Rhosneigr, North Wales.
The body was found in the sea off the Lleyn peninsula.
Search teams found her red Avocet kayak earlier yesterday on the beach at Morfa Nefyn, 20 miles from where she vanished.
