Kemp blasts TV current affairs
Former EastEnders hardman Ross Kemp has criticised the “dumbing down” of current affairs coverage.
The actor-turned-documentary maker is about to star in The Invisible Wounded, a new show for Sky 1 looking at the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder on members of the armed forces. He has also made a new series of his Extreme World show.
“We felt the first series was pretty groundbreaking. I think there’s a lot of dumbing down in terms of what current affairs are about.”
