Labelling scheme for green power
A new labelling scheme to show consumers if green electricity tariffs from energy suppliers are really delivering environmental benefits was launched today.
The “green energy certified” label will implement guidelines from Ofgem and aims to cut through the confusion over environmentally-friendly power tariffs. Details of newly certified tariffs from seven energy companies are available at www.greenenergyscheme.com.
