Labour contenderconfident of win

Labour leadership candidate Ed Miliband said he was "increasingly confident" of snatching the party crown from his brother David.

The younger Miliband brother has been in second place for much of the long-running campaign to succeed Gordon Brown, but now says he feels the momentum is behind his bid as the end of the contest on September 25 approaches.

The shadow energy secretary said he is “the best person to take on David Cameron” and return Labour within five years.
