Labour gains inlocal elections
Labour took three seats in Exeter's council elections, yesterday, winning two from the Tories and recovering one lost earlier through a defection.
Tories however compensated by snatching one seat from Liberal Democrats and one from the separate Liberal Party.
Councillors had to seek re-election after rejection of plans for new all-purpose authorities.
