Landmark for 2012 Olympic Stadium
The Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east London, reached its full height yesterday when a lighting tower was lifted into place.
The 28m (92t) tall tower, the first of 14, sits 60m (197ft) above the sporting action and is needed for high definition footage. The stadium is due to be completed next summer.
