Landmark flats caretaker retires
A council caretaker who spent 25 years looking after Sheffield's landmark Park Hill flats has retired and been presented with a portrait by the block's new owners.
Grenville Squires first started as a handyman with Sheffield Council in 1981 and worked at Park Hill and two other complexes. Mr Squires lived in Park Hill for 22 years, and since the flats were listed by English Heritage, he has found new fame in TV documentaries about the site.
