TIME is running out for visitors to see the Tower of London’s touring ceramic poppy display at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
The commemorative poppy sculptures are part of the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation, designed by Tom Piper and created by Paul Cummins.
The installation was originally at HM Tower of London from August to November 2014 where 888,246 poppies were displayed, one to honour every death in the British and Colonial forces of the First World War.
Thousands of people have been to see the ‘Wave’ segment at the sculpture park at West Bretton, Wakefield, since it went on show in September. The poppies will remain at the lower lake until Sunday January 10.
