Last stop: Dales line train driver hangs up his cap at 75

Colin DAVIES is retiring as a train driver at the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.

It is the second time the 75-year-old has retired, having previously driven for the National Coal Board at Glasshoughton colliery. He left to work on the picturesque Dales line, which travels between Embsay and the new station at Bolton Abbey. The Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway is run by the volunteers of the Yorkshire Dales Railway Museum Trust.
