LATEST: Man in critical condition following incident at Huddersfield train station
A local man is in a critical condition with serious injuries after an incident at Huddersfield train station this morning.
Emergency services were called at 6.21am this morning to reports of a man under a train.
The 54 year-old, from the Huddersfield area, was treated by the ambulance service at the scene. British Transport Police said he was then taken to hospital suffering from serious head injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.
The man’s family has been informed and are being supported by officers and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
