Now the 22-year-old Belgian has been given the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most historic aircraft thanks to an internship at the Yorkshire Air Museum.

Ms Verhoeven was intrigued by the history of the former WWII Bomber Command Station, but what really appealed was the ‘hands on’ approach and the chance to work with amongst the many ongoing restoration and maintenance projects taking place there.
