A motorcyclist kicked a man off his pedal bike in Hull, officers have said.

Humberside Police have today appealed for information about the assault on Greenwood Avenue at the junction with Ellerburn Avenue at 5.40pm on Tuesday, July 25.

A spokesperson said: "A 57-year-old man was cycling along the road when an unknown person on motorbike approached him from behind and allegedly kicked the victim's bike as they passed.

"This caused the cyclist to fall into a parked car, hitting his head in the process.

"The victim sustained [a] gash to his forehead requiring a number of stitches at Hull Royal Infirmary."
