Lawyers offer Polish opportunities

Hull lawyers Stamp Jackson and Procter have invited Robert Windmill, from leading Polish lawyers Windmill Gasiewski and Roman, to be the key speaker at a seminar on the future of Polish farming and its market potential.

Stamp Jackson and Procter's senior partner Andrew Procter will chair the event at the Tickton Grange Hotel in Beverley on Monday November 29.

He said: "We know from our experience in Europe how vital local knowledge is and Robert Windmill, who was a partner in a leading London-based international legal firm, has that essential oversight and practical knowledge of the Polish industry.

"Both our arable and our livestock expertise could have widespread application there."

As well as presenting the overall picture of Polish agriculture the seminar will provide data on land, production and profits, explain farmland buying procedures in Poland and outline taxation and European Union funding.
