Lay-dees cause comic confusion using the gents

Little Britain stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas raised eyebrows while filming their new series – after nipping to the gents dressed as lay-dees.

The pair filmed their latest BBC comedy at a real airport – and they had to use the facilities alongside confused travellers while dressed as check-in girls Keeley and Melody.

Walliams said: "The interesting thing is we get recognised by some British people who might have seen Little Britain.

"But, obviously, as we're in an airport, a huge percentage of people are from other countries who probably don't recognise us and are just utterly mystified as to why there are two men dressed as women having a pee next to them in the toilet."
