Ricky kicks off his new Sky 1 TV show, Bring The Noise, tonight by joining former Doctor Who star David Tennant for a re-enactment of Elton John and Kiki Dee’s classic duet Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.

The Leeds indie rocker dons a wig and suit to portray Elton while David also gets into eye-catching character as Bradford-born Kiki.

Former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger and singer Tinie Tempah are team captains on the entertainment show, which will feature live performances and celebrity guests each week.

Ricky, who is also a coach on BBC’s The Voice, said: “I’m no stranger to music based TV shows with a competitive element, but this is taking music TV to another level.

“Swing by the off licence, phone for a takeaway, and settle in with Bring The Noise.”

The programme’s first episode goes out on Sky 1 at 9pm.
