Leeds man due in court after being charged over series of incidents

A man will appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court this morning after being charged over a series of incidents at the weekend.

West Yorkshire Police said David Riley, 36, was arrested yesterday by officers at Elland Road police station.

He has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

It comes after a series of incidents in Leeds on Saturday, including a multi-car collision between Sheepscar Street North and Scott Hall Road on Saturday.
