Pele’s appearance at Elland Road comes as part of a tour of the UK he will be completing later this year, taking in cities such as London, Birmingham and Manchester.

His last visit to Leeds came in 2006 at a book signing for the release of his autobiography.

On that occasion he tipped Italy to win the upcoming World Cup. Six weeks later the Azzurri were crowned World Champions.
